Program Description Engineering is a broad discipline that ranges from the application of physics and chemistry on a commercial scale, the design and construction of infrastructure, the manufacturing of electronic systems, the design of mechanical technology such as aircraft, and much more. CNC’s one-year Engineering (Applied Science) Certificate prepares students for continued studies into engineering degree granting institutions.
A career in Engineering could include the following:

- Computer Engineering
Students who successfully complete the program in one academic year with a GPA of at least 2.8 are guaranteed admission to second year engineering at the University of British Columbia, and are eligible to transfer to engineering programs at The University of Victoria and Simon Fraser University
