Program Description The College of New Caledonia offers an exciting two-year Post Diploma in one of the fastest-growing niches in the Canadian job market: Information Technologies. There will be upwards of 182,000 positions that will need to be filled by 2019, and CNC’s program is designed to meet this demand with qualified graduates from the PDIT program.
Careers in the Information Technology industry may include:
- Information systems analysts and consultants
- Computer and network operators and web technicians
- Computer programmers and system testing technicians
- Database analysts and data administrators
The program is delivered over four full-time semesters of study and further supported by an 80-hour internship in a related business. Course offerings are constructed on recognized industry manufacturers’ and vendor-neutral standards which encourage students to develop competencies relevant to current and future trends in IT enterprise/ server environments.
