Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Mechanical Engineering)

This program focuses on modelling and simulation of components, machines, processes and systems This engineering honours degree follows a teaching method of problem-based learning. Students will take part in workshops where they work in teams and generate their own learning agenda Students will have access to Victoria University Motorsport (VUM) which is a student group led by Mechanical Engineering undergraduate students. At VUM, students design and build a race car which they enter in the annual Formula SAE competition. This extra-curricular activity provides an excellent professional development opportunity and brings together students with a shared passion for engineering and motorsports The curriculum includes 12 weeks of industry placement. This ensures students will be career-ready when they graduate
