Course Description This program aims to provide students with an excellent technical understanding of viticulture or winemaking through provision of a relevant and coherent body of wine production and wine science knowledge, as well as industry-relevant skills This program builds on students knowledge of science from prior degree or from significant industry experience by focusing on scientific, technical and managerial aspects of grapegrowing and winemaking Upon successful completion of this program students will be able to take on roles such as Assistant winemaker, Winemaker, Technical adviser etc. The subjects areas that students will study includes General and Inorganic Chemistry, Winemaking Science and Practice, Microbiology or Engineering Physics, Wine Microbiology or Winery Engineering etc.
