Course Description The degree is offered with the two options for completion- 4-year full-time or 5-year thick-sandwich This is a traditional and broad-based course which aims to produce well-rounded engineers with a high level of analytical and engineering design skills It aims to produce highly qualified engineers who will take up demanding managerial roles within the electrical industry by developing leadership, innovation and creative skills to enable and encourage graduates to follow successful engineering careers, and aspire to senior managerial roles Students will develop a strong theoretical background involving the future of electronics, microelectronics and computer systems Students will also have the opportunity to undertake high-quality work placements within prestigious organizations
