Course Description This program is not currently offered by the university The degree is offered with the two options for the completion- 3-year full-time or 4-year thick-sandwich With BEng route, students can transfer to the MEng programme at the end of Level 2 by obtaining an average of 60% at that level Designed especially for the students who need an ideal starting point for getting trained to become a professional pilot after graduation The programme incorporates fundamental practice and theory but also presents the opportunity to obtain a Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) and to undertake training in a flight simulator Students will be undertaking modules like Aircraft Ground Theory and Flying Practice, Fundamentals of Thermofluids, etc. Covering flying basics, it also examines wider aspects of the aviation industry, for e.g. airport design (BEng) The degree includes the additional charge for covering the first 15 hours of flight training with a qualified flying instructor
