Additional information
The emergence of new technologies and industries hasn't lowered the demand for workers in traditional trades such as tool and die making and general machining. But skilled trades people do require new skills for the 21st century – and the Sheridan Mechanical Techniques–Tool and Die program prepares students for that challenge.
Students also learn how to conduct a job search, maintain proper work documentation, and communicate effectively on the job. Sheridan’s instructors have years of experience as practicing tool and die makers and general machinists. They’ll serve as mentors and career coaches long after you've graduated.
Advanced standing will be granted for equivalent courses.
