Program Description This red seal program offers training in how to cut and style hair to suit their clients face and lifestyle. Some of the duties include: Cut, trim, color, wave and style hair, wigs and hairpieces Shave, trim and shape beards and moustaches Suggest appropriate hairstyles Maintain supplies and equipment Self-educate on new hairstyles and fashions Outcomes Demonstrate safe work practices and personal protection. Use and maintain tools and equipment. Demonstrate the skills required to style, cut and color hair. Prepare clients for services. Perform reception duties. Note: This program may not be suitable for persons with allergies and/or respiratory problems. Anyone with either of these conditions should check with a doctor to determine medical suitability.
