FULL DESCRIPTION
Program Description Our educational assistant program prepares you to work with kindergarten to grade 12s. In the program, you will learn how to work one-on-one and with small groups. There are two exceptionalities courses available to give you tools to work with children with different abilities. You can choose electives to enhance your skills. American Sign Language and animal assisted therapy are two of those options. You will also be able to put what you learn into work experience. Each semester you’ll have 11 weeks of classes then a 4-week practicum.
