The degree combines engineering theory with a strong applied, practical component Students will develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills and gain an in-depth understanding of the principles underlying technology Students will also learn principles of management, communications and economics Students will study courses such as: Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, Mechanics of Machines, Advanced Thermodynamics, Strength of Materials, etc. Graduates of the program are involved in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems
