Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) is the integration of electrical, electronic, and computer engineering with mechanical and industrial engineering enabling the development of intelligent machines and advanced manufacturing and processing systems Graduates will have multiple technical and transferable skill competencies with strong analytical skills that help them to lead multiple complex projects Students are required to complete practicum placement(s) as part of this course because, during the course, students will be required to undertake a minimum of 12 weeks of practical work experience located in an engineering industry environment Areas of study within the course include engineering mechanics, computer-aided design and manufacturing, analog and digital electronics, signal analysis, electromechanical systems, industrial control, and robotics
