Course Description The Master of Engineering Management degree is for students seeking to develop knowledge and skills in management and leadership in the engineering and related industries The primary objective of the course is to equip students with the tools and skills necessary to develop ideas, to lead and to manage organisational activities in the engineering industry, and to further develop your engineering expertise at a postgraduate coursework level Students will study the foundations of good management through accounting, finance and marketing subjects in the first year, and then go on to more detailed engineering and business subjects The second year also includes an opportunity to complete an independent design project to give students practical experience and deeper knowledge This degree offers education that will enable employment across a broad range of engineering related organisations requiring quality general management, as well as further developed engineering expertise
