The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CHBE) offers a program named Master of applied science in chemical and biological engineering Students learn about the transformation of raw materials into valuable products by chemical, biochemical, physical or electrochemical processes, as well as energy generation (bio, electro & thermo) Chemical and Chemical & Biological engineers create and develop processes to change raw materials into the products that society depends on; food, chemicals, fuels, energy, metals, pharmaceuticals, paper, plastics, and personal care products
