Program Description This eight-month graduate certificate program provides you with additional training and skills to enhance your current career and open up new opportunities. As a student in this program, you will study infant and children’s mental health, family dynamics, community mental health, therapeutic approaches and crisis intervention. You will also acquire the skills, knowledge and judgement to make a positive contribution to the positive mental health of infants, children and families.
There is a robust body of research and literature on early childhood development, including early mental health. A certificate in infant mental health will increase your knowledge and skills to work with vulnerable young children and their families.
