Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) - Stationary Engine Mechanics

Students in the Stationary Engine Mechanics program will learn to: Develop in the students the competencies required to ensure the proper functioning of building heating systems. Develop in the students the competencies required to ensure the proper functioning of building refrigeration systems. Develop in the students the competencies required to ensure the proper functioning of building ventilation and air conditioning systems. Develop in the students the competencies required to monitor, maintain and repair auxiliary equipment in heating, refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Develop in the students the competencies required to effectively supervise a thermal power plant.
