Program Description This qualification is for people who want to work in the music industry as composers, instrumentalists or vocalists. Students will develop a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate own work and/or that of a team in the music industry. From the specialist units students can develop skills in music composition, arrangement and performance. Performance may be as freelance, soloist or in a group. Specific skills may include using musical instruments or digital media tools, performing from a repertoire, improvising or from written notation.
