FULL DESCRIPTION
Program Description This Diploma has been designed for those wishing to operate as a beauty therapist employing staff and managing a beauty salon. Students will acquire advanced beauty skills to be a qualified beauty therapist, including aesthetic aromatherapy, use of essential oils, epilation and make-up for photography. Students may choose from electives in specialist beauty areas, workplace training and assessment or small business management. Skills development for clinical work will require students to practise on each other and industry dress codes will apply. This will necessarily involve touch but will always be practised and applied in accordance with industry codes of practice and ethics.
