Program Description The Welding Engineering Technology program offers full- time, two years of hands-on education. The first year focuses on academic fundamentals and structural steel design and fabrication. During the second year you will learn pressure vessel design, construction and testing. You will design, build and test a pressure vessel as part of your final project. Practical welding skills are also developed to gain an in-depth understanding of welding processes.
