Program Description Humber’s Fire Services Diploma program teaches you the theory of fire science, fire prevention, safety, physical and mental health while working collaboratively with social and community services. Taking this program will provide you with a well-rounded education in fire services. You will acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required by professional fire and emergency services. Develop personal resilience strategies to manage the rigours of this career. This program does not provide you with education to become a firefighter. Our program will provide you with the knowledge, skills and abilities to pursue employment in a broad range of fire services including fire service training, fire code inspection, fire cause investigation, and emergency measures with municipal fire services, military, and provincial ministries within the public sector. Graduates may also find employment within the private sector in security, fire inspection and insurance adjustment.
Note: If a student applies for conditional acceptance but later decides to take their IELTS/TOEFL, they will need to reapply and submit a new application.
