FULL DESCRIPTION
Program Description This two-year Ontario College Diploma program (delivered in a compressed, 45-week format at the Perth Campus) prepares students to become educators of young children in a variety of early learning settings. Students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to work with families and other professionals to support children's learning and development. Emphasis is on the development of inclusive play-based curriculum for children from birth to age 12. Students benefit from opportunities to observe the application of best practices (Woodroffe - in the onsite lab school; Perth/Pembroke - in the community) and to apply their knowledge in real-world settings as they participate in field placements.
