Program Description This program is designed to give the student an understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the carpentry trade and to familiarize them with the associated tools and materials. The program also provides the student with a solid foundation to continue their education in areas closely connected to the carpentry trade and the various construction trades, as well as the renovation industry. The skills acquired in this program will enhance graduates seeking employment opportunities with the general carpentry trade including contractors, construction and renovation companies.
Program Highlights: Lab work is conducted in our Centre for Construction Innovation and Production. A number of build projects give you hands-on experience. Students have the opportunity to get involved in skills competitions.
