You are introduced to all areas of theatre production and design including costumes, makeup, scenery, properties, lighting, sound, and stage management.
Through intensive hands-on experiences, you develop advanced practical skills in at least two technical areas. Our immersive approach prepares you for the ever-changing world of theatre, whether you want to work with distinguished theatre companies or initiate your own artistic plans.
As a senior student you assume major technical or design responsibilities in Mainstage and TheatreXtra productions. A thriving arts culture across campus and in the community provides further opportunities to expand skills, demonstrate leadership, and build connections.
