Program Description The Bachelor of Education program is designed for future educators wanting to teach students in a variety of educational institutions, including K to 12 schools. The curriculum offers a general approach to various subjects and teaching methods students will use in secondary school classrooms. Students will concentrate their expertise in specific subjects. The subject areas are closely aligned with the Saskatchewan grade 9 to 12 curriculum areas:
Biology Chemistry Drama English language arts Indigenous studies Mathematics Modern languages Physical education Physics Social sciences / social studies Visual arts The Secondary stream of the Bachelor of Education program develops teacher candidate expertise in instruction and designing high quality learning environments for learners in Grade 9 to Grade 12 classrooms.
