This course provides a solid grounding in the threshold concepts underpinning economic analysis, using its distinctive perspectives to critically analyse business decision-masking. Students will learn about the industry and regulatory contexts surrounding decisions in an international setting as well as develop crucial employment skills. This flexible course provides a solid grounding in the main elements of economic analysis, while emphasising their application to public and private organisations, as well as to question policy. Economics students will have access to the unique Trading Room facility. With 12 double-screen workstations, the room gives a simulated experience of working in the fast-moving world of shares and trading. Students can access sophisticated analysis tools and data on worldwide financial markets.
