Program Description Courses in the English Department are about learning to be observant and reflective readers and writers, thinkers and researchers. In other words, we teach core skills for a comprehensive college education. Educating students to respond with a breadth of knowledge and a disciplined imagination to the ideas of others is part of the English Department's larger commitment to a liberal arts education, whose aim, we like to say, is the creation of the thoughtful and engaged citizen.
Students enrolled in this program may be eligible for a Co-operative Education designation. Co-operative Education involves alternating full-time academic and work terms.
Note: Campus location may vary between years depending on program availability.
