Course Description

Program Description The College of New Caledonia prepares the next generation of creative and intellectual leaders through a specialized, two-year Associate Degree in Arts program. This program prepares students for further education in the humanities and social sciences by exposing them to a variety of university-level subjects, with a focus on the arts. The Associate Degree of Arts is equivalent to the first two years of a university degree, at a fraction of the cost. CNC’s students graduate with a wide range of transferable skills which they can apply in the professional world. These skills, such as professional communication, research and planning, critical thinking, analytical assessment, scientific and mathematical reasoning, and the application of theoretical understanding, all provide key competencies to industry-specific skills for employment.
