FULL DESCRIPTION
This diploma is recognized by the Institution of Professional Engineers in New Zealand (IPENZ) Students will participate in the design, construction management and maintenance of civil works such as roads, dams, earthquake engineering, water and sewerage systems Students will gain a sound knowledge, understanding and practical appreciation of civil engineering processes and theory Upon successfully completion of the program students may pursue a career in construction companies, mining companies or local authorities Students will study subjects such as Engineering Fundamentals, Engineering Mathematics, Land Surveying, Civil and Structural Drawing, Geotechnical Engineering etc.
