The students develop an understanding of community health priorities, developing and implementing community health interventions and critically evaluating their effects across a range of community health settings The programme is committed to principles of equity, social justice, empowerment and community participation and ownership Graduates of the Master of Public Health will be able to Demonstrate knowledge and critical application of principles of social justice, inclusion and community participation in public health Identify and critically analyze public health issues from a range of perspectives including biological, environmental, behavioral, occupational, social and cultural determinants Demonstrate critical thinking in the development and evaluation of public health practice
