Program Description This full time program will take one year to complete. Graduates of this program will obtain a higher level of specialized knowledge, skill and independence in the areas of assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorder. This program is a combination of academic and practical experience and provides an opportunity for learners to build on their undergraduate studies in order to work effectively as an integral member of a services delivery team, supporting individuals with autism and autism spectrum disorders.
Graduates will demonstrate leadership in guiding the activities of others and will have the knowledge and skills necessary to develop practical solutions. A broad understanding and training in the area of Applied Behaviour Analysis principles and practices including Intensive Behavioural Intervention Techniques is a focus of the curriculum.
