FULL DESCRIPTION
It is a two-year diploma program that prepares the graduates for employment in the upstream petroleum industry It delivers up to date knowledge of petroleum geology, well drilling techniques, reservoir engineering, oil and gas production optimization, project development and management, and environmental protection and safety A Field Placement occurs in the summer between first and second year of the program and at various locations. Field Placement may include drilling operations, well stimulation, and testing, oil, and gas production operations, pipeline operations, government agencies, engineering departments with oil and gas producing companies
