Program Description This program focuses on both theory and technical skills in materials recognition and selection, machining, finishing, manufacturing and construction to meet a variety of goals in processing wood products. A woodworking technician learns a wide range of skills including cabinet making and kitchen design, trim and construction carpentry, architectural millwork (doors and windows) and furniture making. A woodworking technician is also able to program and operate CNC (computer numeric control) machines for repetitive work.
