Program Description Train for a career in one of the fastest-growing professions. This is a rewarding, health-centered field where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the quality of life of an individual with an illness or disability. Through assessment, planning, and delivery of activities, you will help people lead more fulfilling and independent lives. This specific training will prepare you for a career in clinical and community-based settings. All classes are available onsite or online, and are recorded for future playback. Students complete 400 hours of applied work experience.
Dual Diploma Option: Canadore graduates of this program are eligible to complete the Recreation and Leisure Services or Strength and Sport Conditioning program in one year.
