Program Description The Music and Digital Media (MDM) Program is the only program of its kind in Canada. This challenging program builds foundational skills related to music performance and teaching, multimedia, film and audio recording. MDM prepares students for further education and careers in music and in media industries.
The focus is on the connection between different artistic disciplines and creative integration of art forms. Music Theory, History and Ear-Training are combined with digital media courses such as Photography, Graphics, Video, and Recording. Throughout the program, students study their primary instrument/voice in 10 private applied lessons per semester. In second year, students focus on a stream of their choice and work to develop a personal portfolio.
