Program Description The Electrical Engineering Technician program prepares graduates to apply electrical theory and related knowledge to design, test, troubleshoot and modify electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry in industrial or commercial plants and laboratories. They are able to solve problems related to generating, distributing, transmitting and using electrical energy.
Program Highlights Program delivered at the recently constructed Chatham Trades & Technology facility which houses up-to-date industrial equipment. Well-balanced curriculum with a blend of theory and hands-on training. Students are eligible for associate membership and possible certification through Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT) as Certified Technicians (C.Tech.)
