This program is ideal for those who know they want to work in health sciences, but aren’t sure which career path is right for them, or are currently underprepared for other health sciences programs. There’s a strong focus on academic advising to support your success, and you’ll be introduced to a range of possible career paths in the health sciences field.
What you'll gain
Through this program, you’ll prepare for further study by gaining the necessary background knowledge in biology, chemistry, mathematics and anatomy and physiology. Some of the college credits you’ll earn are transferable to other programs at Sheridan and may be accepted at other colleges as well.
Transfer opportunities
When you've completed this program, you can transfer to the University Profile or apply to university or one of these Sheridan programs: Animal Care, Fundamentals of Fitness Leadership, Practical Nursing, Pharmacy Technician, Community Pharmacy Assistant, Veterinary Technician, Kinesiology and Health Promotion, Athletic Therapy.
