Mathematics is one of the most timeless and international disciplines in existence This three-year BSc allows students to investigate the number theory studied by Pythagoras and the financial mathematics depended on every day in Wall Street It covers a range of material including pure mathematics and applied mathematics Students will also concentrate on stochastic processes and stochastic analysis, which are central for applications to finance Studying maths at Swansea University gives you access to world-leading teaching and cutting edge facilities Students will also have the opportunity to study abroad for a year or work in industry for a year, either locally, nationally or overseas Students will study subjects reflecting our research expertise in areas such as nonlinear partial differential equations, noncommutative geometry and algebraic topology
