Program Description Human Kinetics is concerned with understanding capacities for, and limits of, human movement at different ages and with the role of physical activity in human health. Students study a common core which includes calculus, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, genetics, cell biology, molecular biology, statistics, nutrition, and physiology. Human anatomy is in the core for Human Kinetics and Bio-Medical Science. After completing the core, your course selection reflects the major that you've chosen, and your particular interests. Through the use of electives, you can structure a program emphasizing biomechanics and ergonomics, human population biology, or nutrition, exercise & metabolism.
