Program Description The Faculty of Science, Applied Science and Engineering is the home of the Chemistry department in Saint John and is located on the top floor of William F. Ganong Hall.
Chemistry is the study of atoms, molecules and their interactions. It is often described as the central science because studies in biology, geology and physics examine the gross behaviour of materials which is a reflection of what is occurring at the molecular level.
Our principle teaching strategy is to work with small groups of students to maximize the personal experience and optimize skills development.
We foster independent problem solving and critical thinking coupled with excellence in communication which are the corner stones of scientific investigation. We look forward to getting to know you and assisting in your studies.
