Program Description Kinesiology is the study of human movement, sport and physical activity. The multidisciplinary Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) program at Laurier analyzes physical movement through the integrative perspectives of psychology, motor control, sociology, biomechanics, history, physiology, health and philosophy. Our program features four areas of concentration:
Health and Rehabilitation Human Movement and Performance Teaching, Coaching and Management Physical Activity Promotion Laurier’s Kinesiology program is designed to expose you to learning inside and outside the classroom. During your studies you are required to complete two community-based leadership experience placements. Some courses will also require you to engage in practical, hands-on learning experiences such as physical activity programming, fitness testing or injury assessment.
