The Sports Studies program and its courses belong to the Division of Social Sciences at Bishop's. Sports Studies is offered as both Major and Minor programs. The programs are general Bachelor of Arts degrees designed to encourage students to adopt an interdisciplinary perspective that gathers together the individual, local, national, and international dimensions of sport and exercise. Consequently, they expose students to the social, biological, political, business, and economic aspects of sports in society. The programs also provide opportunity for practical and/or research.
