Program Description The BA in Environmental Studies focuses upon Environmental Citizenship. Our graduates understand the ecological underpinnings of environmental issues but focus upon the social and humanistic aspects of environmental challenges, such as ethics, policy, Indigenous perspectives, gender and environmental justice among others.
In addition, students develop a toolbox of specific, employable skills including GIS, cartography, public engagement techniques, introductory planning, environmental assessment, approaches to managing natural resources, and environmental law.
