Program Description Child and Youth Studies (CHYS) is one of the most popular programs at Brock. You will learn from a broad-based approach that considers the individual child or youth within the context of the family, school, peer group and community. With interdisciplinary roots in psychology, education, sociology, cultural studies and criminology, our degree gives you the academic background to pursue a wide variety of careers or to pursue further studies in a Master's program. Field placements in schools and agencies will give you valuable experience for your résumé.
