Sheridan's Architectural Technology and Architectural Technician programs both use mobile computing, so you'll have 24/7 online access to lecture notes and other class material plus the ability to collaborate on group projects wherever and whenever.
Paid work placements
The three-year Architectural Technology Co-op program allows three paid work placements that provide students with practical experience and professional contacts. Enrolment is limited through an additional co-op application process that takes place in the first semester.

Our graduates can qualify to become, and legally use the term, "Licensed Architectural Technologists" through fulfilling the requirements of the Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario (AATO). As well, in joining the Technologist arm of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) upon graduation, the OAAAS, you can enjoy the benefits of what the OAA has to offer, from resources, to access to in-house liability insurance.
Additionally, you can have the opportunity to be examined, and apply for, a Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) in order to apply for building permits on behalf of clients.
