Course Description Students will learn dental nursing procedures and techniques in Dental Academy Students will be an essential member of the dental team with an extended scope of practice, allowing them to confidently increase their role in patient care, and gain the essential knowledge they need to become registered with the GDC Students will gain analytical and evaluative skills that allow them to contribute to patient education, the development of the dental team and the wider dental field Students will turn their knowledge into practical skills, working as part of a team to provide dental care and oral health promotion to patients in the community
