Program Description Involving students in hands-on research is one of our college’s main objectives, and science majors benefit from many of these opportunities. Our students receive significant instruction in state-of-the-art labs and other innovative facilities, such as the Canadian Light Source—Canada’s only synchrotron—and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO). Our grads have gone on to become everything from doctors and marine biologists to Hollywood animators and CEOs of research organizations.
