Program Description Mechanical engineering technicians learn to work independently to provide technical support and services in the development, maintenance and testing of machines and equipment that define modern manufacturing. The program focuses on manufacturing with components of robotics and industrial controls. HIGHLIGHTS: Gain marketable skills in a laptop learning environment. Access hands-on experiential learning opportunities in advanced manufacturing and design laboratories. Graduates may enter the workforce directly or enter Niagara College’s Mechanical Engineering Technology (Co-op) program with advanced standing after completing bridge courses. Additional professional certifications/designations are available.
