In Landscape Architecture, you will apply creativity, innovation and an understanding of natural and social systems to design outdoor spaces that are as attractive as they are functional and sustainable. The only accredited program of its kind in Canada, you will combine your education and practice with planning and creative. The Landscape Architecture program is fully accredited by the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Council (LAAC) of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, meeting the educational requirements for entry into the professional associations of landscape architects across Canada, North America, and abroad. You will learn from accomplished faculty in extensive studio design space, available to you 24 hours a day, and the University's 162-hectare Arboretum is on your doorstep. Hands-on learning, studio projects and international exchange opportunities all ensure that your theoretical ideas are put into reality, and prepare you to succeed in the working world. You will be well prepared to position yourself as a key player in the way our cities, suburbs, rural and wilderness areas are planned, designed, integrated and managed.
