Program Description The new Medical Professional Stream is a unique four-year program designed for students looking to pursue a career in medicine after graduating from Trent. Med School? Dentistry? Veterinary? Pharmacy? This stream is designed to give you a unique advantage in whatever medical path you choose by providing you with the academic and non-academic foundations that will best prepare you to be successful in your professional program examinations, applications and interviews. Professional schools and programs are looking for more than just grades. They are looking for well-rounded individuals who excel academically with a strong background in both the physical sciences and life sciences, as well as social sciences and humanities. They also take into account a combination of other factors, such as students who score well on their professional school examinations, like the DAT or MCAT, students who can provide strong letters of recommendation, and students who score well in interviewing before a committee.
