Program Description A Mining Engineering Technician Diploma or the successful completion of the first four semesters of a Mining Engineering Technology program or equivalent must first be completed. As Ontario's sole Mining Engineering Technology Program, Cambrian's course of study builds upon the knowledge and experience gained in the Mining Engineering Technician program. Cambrian's program is also the only program of its kind in Ontario to be accredited by the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists (CTAB). In this program, you will further develop practical skills in surveying and GIS, mine ventilation planning, mine design and project management.
