Because electrical engineering is a hands on profession, you'll take your new theoretical skills into real lab situations where you'll work on electrical, electronic, and digital components. The Co-op component of the program will provide eight months of real world training and an upgrade to a prestigious Advanced Diploma. You'll use cutting-edge technology to help solve the electrical problems that are vital to our electrical world. As well, as you move through the program, you can specialize in an area of your choice. And when you graduate, you'll have a range of job opportunities with engineering design offices, plant engineering departments of process industries (such as steel, paper, plastic and chemical), power utilities or computer and instrumentation manufacturers.
